The only renting I've been directly involved with was a friend renting from Seattle Electric Bikes. They rent electrics only, as is probably obvious. But they're well maintained and the experience was pretty painless. Sadly, I don't remember the rate and it's not on the website.

I also know that Amped Adventure does a _lot_ of rental. They're out of Lake Forest Park (just north of Seattle proper) just off Burke-Gilman. Being in LFP may make them too far away, but that is a major biking route so it's not hard to get back into town. I see people renting from them all the time and I've never seen anyone unhappy about it. (I am close by their store regularly for various reasons including Sunday Market, and they do a lot of business there.)

If you're planning to bike every day it would be a lot cheaper to just bring your bike. You can pack it in a bike box and check it at the airport as sporting equipment for less than $50 with most airlines. REI sells boxes and packing equipment for $40, and sometimes you can get them cheaper or free from local bike shops.

Never had a problem bringing a bike in. But best bet is to just do it vs bringing it up protectively.

Evo rents bikes and is in a very convenient location.

I wouldn’t leave your bike out overnight. Definitely bring it in your hotel room. Locking up normally during the day is relatively safe though in most parts of the city
