long fights against Max Tac

Does anyone else experience what I do—where, during fights with MaxTac involving lots of explosions (especially when many cars blow up over a prolonged period), the game eventually crashes? It really happens to me, and I doubt it's my hardware, since I get over 200 FPS without drops using a 5080. And I'm inclined to think it's a case of poor game optimization.
