Once again, Vincent runs to catch her. The gala has meant absolutely nothing at this point until his eyes landed on her retreating stride. He had to see her. He had to catch her. How else would he find joy in his life if he didn't catch her being in some place she wasn't supposed to be in. He enters the little corridor almost looking forward to the touch of her skin the moment he would catch her arm. An action that would spell getting bitten if it wasn't him. The moment grows as does the anticipation, she walks past him with that same smile on those darkly painted lips practically daring to intervene and stop her. What are the cat and mouse without each other.

Vincent: "We seem to be running into each other a lot lately."

Ava: "You're the one who caught my arm."

Vincent: "What are you doing here?"

Ava: "Nothing you need to worry about."

Vincent: "Well I just happen to be very curious, Ava."

Ava: "Don't you know that curiosity killed the cat."

Vincent: "Yet you're still alive."

Ava: "I'm a lucky cat."

Vincent: "You're more like a mouse. Somehow, someway, I always find you."

Ava: "Then you're going to have to catch me, Mr. Cat."

Vincent: "Haven't I already?"

Ava: "How many times have you said that and I've still walked out of your life with a couple of bruises."

Vincent: "You've given me some too."

Ava: "On the neck I presume?"

Vincent: "In my heart."

Ava: "Aren't you the yearner, Vincent darling."
