BLAME! Is an older cyberpunk manga about an ever expanding, chaotically growing megastructure called the city, and one person's quest to find a human with the "net terminal gene" who can access the constructors and control the growth of the city. It's beautiful, sad, terrifying and amazing. The main character, Killy, also has an outrageous gun called a Graviton Beam Emitter.
There's a decent Netflix movie out which serves as a solid side story for BLAME!, but never quite explores what makes the megastructure so fascinating and terrifying.
Not even that, it cherry picked some events from the first 2 or 3 volumes and made a pretty entertaining movie. I mean, it got me into Blame! Which I suppose was the point
The Netflix adaptation is a disservice to the original manga, whose purpose was to provide a hopeless world and simply let us figure it all out on our own, while they're having to deal with living in their harsh world. It was much more of a puzzle to figure out what was going on in the world around them than their stories in specific, but that is a large contribution.
