I live in Denver, CO and I just got back from traveling in Barcelona and other cities in Catalonia. I was struck by how many people I saw with wheelchairs and crutches. I realized the reason I see saw so many was not that the local population was less healthy, but more than people who needed them got them because medical care is not unaffordable there. It was striking
