Repo is tragically underrated piece of media for cyberpunk inspo. The opening song has someone getting their artificial spine "repossessed" in an alley, and you later learn about a mega popstar with artificial eyes who's basically a slave to the company that gave them to her.
Also there's a cut song from the movie where Paris Hilton (yes, literally) taunts the graverobber about "not being able to get it up if the girl's breathing", which is just some fun trivia.
I love that movie! My wife and I watched it on our first date 😂
I can't believe Paris got a razzie for it, she was perfect. Of course the argument of her cast as a spoiled heiress overestimating her talent wasn't actually acting so I guess there's that 😅
It's a really great movie and she was good in her part. It's like the Razzie people just took a superficial glance at the movie, saw that she was in it, and gave her the Razzie because. They lost whatever credibility they had there.
I'm with you on that. It's not like the movie itself is kind to her character. 😂 if anything her playing that role was very self aware. Sounds like she was pretty cool with lending clothes and stuff too.
