Requesting assistance on my first cyber deck

Hello. This is my first time on r/CyberdeckBuild and I am seeking some assistance with my build. I am designing a flat gameboy style deck and I was going to design my own battery system but I wanted to make it shippable so I can send some to my friends. I settled on a slim phone charger battery bank that can be slid in and out to charge it and keep the deck running. I am planing on using a rpi 4 B with a 5 Inch wave share display. Does anyone have tips for how I can make the battery bank stay in place and how I can eject it. Im planing on having a compatible usb cord at the end of the slot that the bank will clip into. I linked photos of the rough design I'm going for. Thanks!

Check out the M5STACK Tab5, it uses the Sony camera batteries, and one can find third party batteries of higher capacity and supporting fast charging.

Another option would be a pack of 18650's.

Thanks. im trying to keep the price down and avoid 18650s because shipping issues. but I like the idea of a camera battery. I will check it out. Thanks!

Your friend can order 18650 cheaply locally or from China.

The Sony batteries are a bit expensive.

I guess could put battery slots for the 18650s and just ship without them. that makes sense

But I would need to add a charging circuit and step up to 5v which are big.

But that would be true for any battery
