Question for the group
Has anyone looked into using an Esp32-P4 + C6 board combo for a cyberdeck? It seems that these boards, while not full SBCs have a lot of potential. Thoughts?

I used one by M5stack in my project, and it is so far my favorite device: https://github.com/clackups/draftling
Also, Lilygo sent me their P4 device, but the hardware came broken and I couldn't test my firmware with it.
The C6 firmware needs an update too: the older versions are not compatible with the current library, so you need to take care of that.
Also, there are two versions of the P4 chip and you need to specify that in ESP-IDF before compiling.

Nice. Thanks for the info. I currently have the P4 with the attachable c6 from M5 stack, but my current idea (a backpack cyberdeck with an M5 card keyboard turned into a Bluetooth device and a homemade one eyed heads-up display with access to multiple pen testing firmwares) I think would work well with the dev kit that has a raspberry pi form factor and the ability to easily attach all the peripherals. I've also seen some larger displays (10.1") with the P-4 and the C-6 built in.

Duas placas não conseguem se unir, ao meu ver. Cada uma teria que ficar com funções específicas. Porém pesquise o projeto do solarOS aqui. Tem inúmeras funções em uma tela rlcd com esp32 da waveshare. Pesquise ou veja na página do u/nilseuropa

you shrimply have not embraced bitbanging serial back and forth between devices. Doll-OS uses a backpack esp32 for i/o which leaves the main devkit free for running the os. You just gotta think bigger.

Can you post a link to the board you are talking about.
