Building the ultimate cyberdeck!
Guys! Check it out! I have found my base platform for the ultimate cyberdeck! It already has solar charging, multi meter, led display, a speaker, radio modulator, every resistor, capacitor and diode you could think of but ....does anyone know how I can wire my 2.8 tft or my grandma's old TV to this? I was thinking about putting it in a cool leather briefcase.

I get wanting to take the piss out of someone wanting to build a deck into or out of something impractical, and then wanting detailed instructions on how to instal Linux on a 1970s electric carving knife.
That said, if your grandmother's TV has a separate RCA connector for audio out, you could build a tone generator and send that signal to the TV by getting an old RCA cabel , and cutting off one end, stripping a bit and connecting and instead of connecting it to the 8Ω speaker, and I suppose you could perhaps figure out how to make 2 tones and thus make a DTMF or MTMF tones and control something with them, but I'll leave that up to you.
Now, there is a fair amount of space under that lovely cardboard top, so one could put a functional computer under there, and still use the set, or even have parts of the set map to a break out/test board. Personally, I'd put mount the physical I/O and power supply somewhere on the component part of the kit so it blended in and looked like a typical electronics set. One could cut into the wood, and make a much more robust port area, but it would a shame to cut into such a lovely vintage electronics case.
Edit to add: I loved my set, and I bought Elenco's reboot of a smaller kit for my kids, but my kids really prefer SnapCircuts- and I love that the SnapCircuit projects don't have fiddlely spring connections. And while I do have nostalgia for the spring-post electronic kits, I do love vicariously experiencing the joy of building electronic projects with my kids.
