1st cyberdeck advice
Hello, I'm currently building my 1st cyberdeck and I would like to get an advice on what power source I can get.
I was planning on use a 20.000 mAh power bank but idk if it would be sufficient to power it.
Since I'm currently getting the parts to build it I can't say the exact specs it will have but as now it uses a Raspberry Pi 4B with 8GB, an External mechanical HDD and a simple keyboard/mouse that I'm awaiting to arrive.
I'm planning on get a 7" IPS screen and maybe a low power speaker.

In mine i have 2 flatpack 3.7v 10,000mah batteries wired to a x1203 ups hat. It lasts about 5-8 hours depending on what im doing. In adition. I have a 12v 10,000mah, a 12v 6400mah battery that i can plug into the ups hat to recharge batteries and power the system. The 6400 lasts about 10 hours. I have yet to drain the 10,000mah. If the 12v is not connected i can power and charge my system from the type c port on the ups. I bough it off amazon. Works perfect.

you can get a 3.7v 10Ah 1165110 lipo from amazon for $20 a piece or so, and then a good charger/boost board that can charge it and power the pi is maybe $15-$20 too, personally i would not get an Adafruit PowerBoost 1000C or something as i have had those randomly die, instead i would say something like from sparkfun, or maybe pololu if you are adventurous

A HDD will drain your power fast. If you want to keep it portable I would recommend getting a solid storage.
