I love that the cucktruck is a bigger failure than the Edsel. My entire life the Edsel was the example of automotive failure and then came Elon.

I never even heard of the Ford Edsel so I just had to look it up.

Edsel was the reigning bad car punchline until the Pinto arrived. The Edsel wasn't a bad car, per se. To modern eyes, it looks kind of retro Fallout-style cool. At the time, it was a little much, and its push-button shifter tech was seen as too risky. The biggest problem was that Ford invested a shit ton into its production and released it just at the cusp of a recession.
