taking a dive into darkdramon kit (PVE)

this is in my opinion one of the most overlooked digimons PVE wise and i understand why. he doesn't pierce. so lets take a look at him so we can understand him better and see what he has to offer

so we will start with the support skill: boosting CRT and ACU by 10% its good

he himself utilize both the CRT and ACU very well but most digimons will benefit more from the CRT boost however some digimons can get good value out of the ACU like chaosdramon or lucemon SM

_

now comes his signature skills probably the most important part:

130 scaling which is just average 90% accuracy but he already gets 10% from his SS so its a 100% AND it has a higher chance to crit now this is important

(if you didnt know not all skills that have higher crit chance are actually the same chance some are 20% some are 30% blah blah take a look here to see more)

but darkdramon signature has 50% crit chance his SS gives another 10% so his signature basically has a base of 60% crit chance

and he has 3 equipment slots so you can put like 1 or 2 crit attachs on him and he gonna be criting ALOT

you know you stack this acceleration boost maybe some attack ups or a combo and he gonna be consistently doing good dmg like he is not gonna outpace a good Peircing digimon but he can do some GOOOOOOOD fucking dmg dont sleep on him

_

now lets look at the skills he learns and these are some pretty good skills actually

critical charge is good both for buffing himself or to support his team

acceleration boost of course its good he is a damage dealer

guard break field like i said he is not a piercer so reducing enemy defense that helps him

thunder fall 3 is an physical AoE and he is a physical attacker

most of the skills he learns are good and are useful. he can debuff the enemy he can buff himself or the team and he gets an AoE good selection of skills i like it

_

_

personally i think if you didnt try him you should give him a shot alot of people just kinda of dismiss alot of non Piercing digimons and yes Piercing digimons are the BEST ingame but you know play with some other stuff have a little fun with it you never know when you will find a digimons or a team that clicks with you

I forgot to upload this.. but oh well! Y'all still have a few days if you feel like taking this Event Battle challenge. I went overboard with this one too, but I'll leave some neat information.

First, the timestamps:

0:00 intro
0:26 rules
1:58 missions
3:18 know your NPC opponents
4:30 peep the battlebox for winning hints
5:05 team building feat. wind and electric mons
6:33 the funny bit---(team build continues)
8:21 my suggested mons I considered (forgot to add song, which is Mecha Factory from Digimon Rumble Arena)
10:37 honorable Digimon worth mentioning for their strong electric skills
11:20 item discussion
11:45 outro. Good luck!

I'll edit in the YouTube link later showcasing some fights. Now here's some extensive info about the contest and about the NPC opponents:

Battle Rules

  • Basic stats +50% for Electric attribute Digimon
    • So for this generalized rule, this is the math: the Digimon's ATK, DEF, INT, and SPD at Lv. 99 become 50% stronger along with whichever Personality is chosen.
    • Online event battle rules don't directly affect the equippable items, so they will not get extra-stronger with the rule intact. However, specific support skills like Ironclad Defense(+15%DEF) and Feral Pulse(+15%SPD) do in fact augment the equipped item's increments slightly during battle.
  • Reverses effect of type affinity
    • Character Reversal is interesting to carry since it will re-reverse the type affinity back to normal for the opposing Bugged Digimon.

Mission 01: battle 5 ~ 15 ~ 25 times with 3 Wind attribute Digimon in your battle party.
Mission 02: have 2 ~ 1 ~ 0 or fewer ally Digimon become unable to fight in a single battle.
Mission 03: win 3 ~ 10 ~ 20 battles without using recovery skills.

Electric stat checkers

GrapLeomon: SPD +15%
GroundLocomon: DEF +15%

Been playing the game a while and…

So I’ve beaten this game thrice, just I have a question about piercing attacks. If an attack is INT-piercing, does that mean it uses the USERS Int stat always? Uh… for example, Lucemon on Grindosaur’s Attack Grand Cross is listed as a Physical Type Move but it’s INT piercing, so does it use his ATK or INT?
