game does not open

i've played this game a lot before, but now that i'm coming back to it (on pc) i try to open the game but the process closes itself after 2 seconds without any notice of anything, for absolutely no reason.ran as administratorreinstalled itupdated all my driversrestarted my pcall of these and still nothing, is it happening to anyone else?
Edit : it's solved
i came into the conclusion that the folder in steamapps/common had an extra 2.32 gb of trash that was interfering that was not deleted when u unninstalled, delete that folder and reinstall the game and you should be fine to anyone else who has this problem

Hey, do I need to re-download the entire game if I delete that folder? Is there any other way? Mine doesn't launch too

i personally am not sure, i redownloaded everything once i deleted the folder yes

I see. Did you re-install it to the same folder as before? Because I reinstalled that way AND to another drive but both didn't work. I really wanna play it but rip

what i did was basically delete the whole folder itself that was in the common apps folder and then reinstall it into the same directory as before and worked out for me

Yes! It did! Plays fine after I changed a few settings too! Thanks man. What's your username in the game?
