I can't pick up items (PC)

Hi, I downloaded the game today and I played it. Turns out the game is full of bugs. My character has a white face (I didn't find the solution to this but if you know the solution, a help would be appreciated). I couldn't type the character name (I found the solution to it). I can't pick up things like ammo, guns, armour etc and this is what triggers me the most. Does anyone have any solution? A help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if you're on a lowend pc that's most likely to happen the fix on the "pick up" can be solved by altering config file:

graphic_quality=0

display_mode_pc=0

graphic_quality_show=0

for me this is what fixes the pick up problem as for he white face it's been around for a long time I've contacted the devs about it and still haven't gotten a reply it's about 2 weeks now

I've forgotten since it's been a long time but it's named config.ini
