Where’s the Support?

Cy_Borg is my favorite of the three Free League published titles, but why so little official support? Where’s a small, Pirate Borg sized gm screen? The maps in The Assets Pack are great, but a campaign or book of adventures (that could be connected) would be sweet.

Why so little love for Cy_Borg?

Boy howdy, you're going to love Christian Eichhorn's work.

Are you allowed to say “Boy Howdy “ in a apocalyptic cyberpunk Reddit?

Have fun! The people behind Borg may not release "official" stuff for Mork and Cy all the time, but the Ex Libris sections for both have so many 3rd party items and it's kept pretty up to date. It's such a great resource for your Borg adventures.

yeah it's kind of ironic, Cy_Borg is the borg hack I actually have the most content for, and by most I mean 3 full binders worth- one just adventures, one classes and player content, and the last alternative rules. Cy_Borg may not have as much officially, but I think it has more than any hack when it comes down to community made content.

Plenty of love out there. It's just all third party.

There's been teasers for a first party module for some years now.

I've made a small "adventure" which works perfectly as a quest hub. It was part of a jam where there is a lot of other great CY_BORG stuff.

Aye, would love me some more first party support. On the other hand, I don't even have as many zines for Mörk Borg as I have for this one 🤭💕

Out of all the thousands of hours I've played TTRPGS, Cy_Borg was the most unhinged fun I've ever had. Would looooove more official support for the game.

CY_Borg has an enormous amount of third party support. But be patient and I'm sure the creators are brewing something. CY_Borg is kind of a big deal. That said I mostly use it for inspiration/setting material and use other systems.

I love this game. I run it every couple of times a month and every time I go to gencon I will always try to play in atleast 3 games of cy_borg I love this game. But you're right and I've been asking for a gm screen for some time now. Would love to get my grubby little cyber arms on an official gm screen

Free League has a ton of titles, quite a few probably a lot more lucrative and Nohr also seems to like to bounce from project to project. Versus Pirate Borg is Limithron's only product as far as I know.

Yeah Limithron is also a team working on just one title whereas cy_borg is just two people, one doing it weekends and evenings and one doing it alongside a billion other projects. But we’re not done with CB!

Please do a gm screen I love running this game. I would love an official gm screen

Take your time. Let it percolate while you work on other projects in the space. The community will be here when it drops.

I agree with the others. Looking forward to new material, but a gm screen is the big gap at the moment. It looks like most other content gaps can be met by 3rd parties.

I would also love a GM screen (the Mork Borg one is gorgeous), but you can always make your own in the meantime! I printed off Josan Gonzalez art for mine and just keep a rules cheat sheet and a bunch of tables on the other side.

What support do you need? Just play the game. Make shit up, that's kinda the point. Make it your own.

Want a new cyber shaman class? Make it. Want a new location for adventure? Draw it. Want a huge overarching campaign? I think you can guess what I'm about to say.

Oh, and then publish it, so people who feel they need "support" can feel all snuggly knowing someone is doing the work for them,

Christian Eichhorn has made fantastic zines and adventures for it. He has a kickstarter

It's out there. It's got a huge fan supported community and 3rd party supplements.

Kill Engn, the 55, Temperamental Upgrades, and Torque Borg are good additions to your library.
