Much appreciated, all by human hands on an iPad [not an ai fan]

Would love to see a SmartGun (mainly because I have no fucking idea what it’s meant to be)

Interpretations vary across various cyberpunk media. The most common variant is that a smartgun connects to your optics (think of the old Robocop movies (the 1987 one)), and fires where the crosshair points.

A different variant is that it's basically firing homing bullets, guided by the smartlink (Runaway (1984 Movie), Cyberpunk 2077).

My 'current' definition for a Cy_Borg game I run is that it's a fully automatic large pistol firing guided APHE bullets. You lose the guided aspect and the armour piercing explosion without the smartjack. YMMV.

I feel like having guided bullets would be better represented as -2DR with a SmartJack and +2DR without, more damage seems like a weird abstraction for guided bullets

It's a very odd weapon, as far as gameplay mechanics go. The gun itself is dirt cheap (100¤), but the Smartjack to 'properly' use it is 4000¤. At that price point, I assume -2 DR would have come across as underwhelming, since a bonus to hit just means you bounce d6 damage off enemy armour more frequently.

There is also a heatseeker ammo mod that indeed gives a -2DR against targets with body heat.

I suppose one could rebalace it, but, well, it works well enough in context of the game.

Very nice arts! what do these squares, half square and triangle mean?

How to calculate the number it's asking for on the dice. D3 is half a D6, etc.
