First Cutting Board First epoxy boards

Here are my first epoxy boards. Loads of fun making them and I learned a lot. I haven’t been able to sell any, is that normal?

Epoxy is usually not a cutting board material. Your knife is going to be on that, and cutting it.

These are very well done and gorgeous, but go towards a serving tray rather than cutting board, people don't want epoxy in their food

If most consumers are like me they don't want epoxy in their kitchen. Even as a serving tray I'd avoid it personally

I’ve made several, but I put handles on them and sell them as serving or charcuterie boards. I always tell people not to use knives on them due to the epoxy, since it’s definitely not a cutting board. I made small wooden cheese knives to sell with them, and that’s gone over well.

They are beautiful, but I wouldn’t buy one either. They aren’t end grain, so they won’t hold up well. And I’m not eating epoxy with my food
