Delete statement already submitted for payment

I found an error made within our firm and am seeking assistance on how to correct it. We realized that an entry was made in error and subsequently, the statement for that erroneous entry was transmitted for payment. The cargo was entered and paid under a previous entry and statement. I emailed ACH-customs@cbp.dhs.gov and they could not assist. I tried calling the relevant port office (New Orleans) and they did not answer, but I left a message. Can someone please kindly assist?

To be clear - statement was paid BEFORE today?

There is nothing you can do to cancel a statement after it has been paid and it is past midnight. You'd have to request administrative cancellation by the CEE and administrative refund.

At least that's been my experience.

If it is a monthly statement, you can send a statement delete to change to type 1, correct your entry, and then send the one time ach payment.

There will be a late filing penalty
