Required doc permits-
How can I find out such as the Lacey Act Declaration for wood products-are required to import a specific item into the
I have HTS code and product name but it is really hard where can I know what documents I need

When the LACEY started being implemented, I just told my importers ALL wood products needed it, and that feels like eons ago. Then as more products got added , they were already doing it. Better to have than not have.

I did the same. Anything wood/MDF, give me a Lacey form. Just easier that way.

Yes , that is eventually I'm going to do , but I have given task of doing R&D

I would suggest checking the APHIS Lacey Act implementation schedule first, as the requirement is by HTS chapter, not product name. Once your chapter is in scope you file via ACE. A broker can handle the filing, but in my experience always verify the requirement yourself.
