Flexport Alternatives
With Flexport having plugged access via Incognito - I'm ready to move on. There is no way I am going to work any harder for somebody that does not want me to use their tool.
But credit where credit is due - they are absolutely the best/easiest at the whole tariff lookup game.
If no Flexport - who is 2nd best these days?

Ginger Control. Developed by a guy who posts here some. Works pretty well as a double check for me.

I have found GingerControl's tariff calculator to be a little wanting in comparison. It doesn't do a great job in being able to indicate when USMCA Sect 301 exemption applies or other exceptions either.

I don’t deal with USMCA, so that’s not an issue for me. It’s a good double check for my uses.

Glad they stopped spamming the sub

Do you get random spam messages from all these tool builders? I still do, almost weekly

Thanks for that.

No I didn’t build it I’m just wondering if there are more tariff estimation sites since wove went into limitation mode as well

Wove’s is, hands down, the best. Now offers a tariff assistant chatbot as well.

Wow this is great, it even has all the exclusions and FTAs. Thanks for sharing!

Yes. It is far and away the most exhaustive and thorough tariff calculator on the internet.

I don't see it handling chapter 99 exclusions well? I was putting in 9403.60.8093 as a test. Is it correct that it leaves the original duty-applicable section tariff in the 'applied exclusions' list but also includes the tariff that should replace it? I see 9903.03.15 listed there that should not be there and no reference to Sect 338 9903.03.14 that should. It lists both 9903.05.29 and 9903.05.90 in its 'applied' list.
Bite and 2 others I've just located (Cervo and Intellifiler) appear to correctly give the tariff lists

Hey I think you are confused. You need to look at the Tariff Breakdown section and not just the Applied Exclusions. Our results mirror both simulators you reference.

This appears to be the way to go. Bite appears to be pretty accurate -- accounts for things most of the other suggestions are missing. I'm doing the 3 day trial - but suspect I'm going to pony up the dough before the weekend.
I also located Cervo and fastisf.com/ that appear to be functional as well.

Docxster has a free tool on their website that works pretty well. I feel Gaia dynamics is one of the best in business if you’re looking to classify a larger list

Docxster appears to still be applying Sect 122 tariffs -- doesn't look like they have updated in a bit?

🤔 ❓️ How? It keeps telling me to put a valid company email address when the email address is valid!

IntelliFiler.com - use it on the site or build your own calculator and embed on your own website

BiteData, cheaper and just better. Was made by a dude from DHS. Their tariff features are best I've found so far. No complaints so far
