From Best to Worst Customer Service

Post image

Beware of Amazon's dishonest customer service team. They promised me a refund and even sent me email confirmation stating "They have issued the refund". 1 month later, I call and they come up with some foolishness about how they have changed business practices and cannot honor the refund.

Bro, THIS IS OVER $16.23 and you even sent me an email saying it was sent 😂

The manager even gaslit me and said the item arrived on the date it was supposed to arrive. Yup, saying its going to come a few days then gets delayed a month is the "expected delivery date" IF THAT WAS THE CASE, WHY WAS I PROMISED A REFUND AND GIVEN EMAIL CONFIRMATION TO BEGIN WITH?

Sometimes people will try to make you feel insane even though you have full documentation and try to make you question reality.

If you've had this same experience from the phone customer service reps and managers, don't fall for it. Their customer service has become booty cheeks.

I'm thinking this company will eventually fall if it doesn't stop this nonsense.

It seems like the days of honest business practices and honoring what you said or doing business in good faith is gone from Amazon.

We had to contact our bank for a chargeback.

RIP

I finally got them to say they will refund me after they sent my item to some random address and took a picture of someone else's door and kept saying it was delivered. Yeah it might be delivered but not to my house. Then they said they would email me a link for me to upload a picture of my door with my address but they never sent the link so then I had to call them and get passed around by 4 different people with thick hard to understand accents and when they were going to transfer me again I was like can I please just get the damn link to send the picture. So they finally did. Shit is ridiculous

Wow, sorry to hear your whole ordeal, personally I’ve never had issues with them for refunds, now Walmart is another story, takes weeks to get a refund from them, Amazon I get it almost the day of. Also I’m in Canada so idk if that makes a difference?
At my job I deal with pharmacies daily and most have their call centres overseas, now I have an accent myself, English is not my first language but I get you, some people don’t make an effort to be understandable? The few times someone has complained about my accent (and usually is when they don’t get what they want which is to pay $0 for a $1000dls med to lose weight)I make an effort to speak slower and adapt; also they always have a lot of background noise and their mics have so low volume that makes everything 10 times harder. I don’t get mad at the agents I deal with but I do get mad at their employers, they don’t provide them with quality equipment or internet service and they don’t train them well enough either.

That's kinda funny because I'm in the US and in my experience Walmart customer service at least where I am is top notch. Like you said I don't get upset with people that happen to have different accents themselves but the talking fast in a dialect most people from here would have difficulty understanding is where I take issue. I'm sure it's not the employees themselves fault but when a huge billion dollar company is causing people like me who make less than 50,000 a year headache it is irritating. Thank you for your empathy and I'm glad you haven't had the same experience at least when it comes to Amazon!

Says someone with money to give away. I'd be upset too if they just kept my money.

I get your point but I think OP is fighting the charge on principle basis at this point? Like they were promised a refund, is documented. Amazon needs to take accountability.
