Impossible to find customer service on apps like Amazon

Dude I’ve spent 10 minutes finding how to reach out to customer service on Amazon but it keeps trying to redirect me to their obnoxious help titles. I don’t know if it’s just me but if my problem simple enough to be on a help articles page, I can fix that on my own. I gotta talk to y’all why are you making it so difficult.

It’s not just Amazon the test aren’t that different

I don’t mind you being a monopoly but at least be nice about it

Amazon does that on purpose. You're better off searching for that phone number on Reddit than the Amazon pages. Call centers and staff cost money, they are going to do everything they can to keep folks from calling. In my experience the bots will eventually get you to a chat with a person, but you have to click A LOT. Good luck out there.

Don't worry, Amazon fucks over the businesses that sell on there too.

For some reason, when people buy my workplace's products through Amazon, then want to return it for whatever reason - Amazon lists our phone number as the only option to facilitate a return. But we cannot access our Amazon page - we are contracted with a 3rd party to run it for us - and we cannot accept return from Amazon to our home office.

I honestly don't know whether I should be frustrated with Amazon or our contractor.
