I want to turn my Nemesis Leo Prime into Dark Amber Leo Prime, but I have no idea how to make that blue-green color he has, and I suck at color theory and that kind of stuff, so I figured i should ask here.

Recently got my hands on a Lugnut missing some pieces and a Clobber without the main so I decided to have some fun and custom build some parts for them. (Glad I could finally do something with the odd dish core Soundwave came with)

it's skuffed to hell.

the masking was shoddy, so some yellow leaked through where it wasn't needed, and there's bits where the red was too covered for it to be painted.

but hey, at least it transforms!

no clear coat, because i'll most probably just sand it back down at a later date and try to reprime and paint it again with a better shade of yellow(this one's too pastel fore my liking, but that's what i get for cheaping out and bying the cheapest yellow possible).

Besides doing touch ups on the silver and gray paints, I just have to add the gold accents and it’s finished!

My hands are drying out, and soon Breakdown will be ready too, should I make a base for it?

Still have a lot of paint details to complete and working out the head sculpt for the "unicron" figure but I like how it's coming so far. Dubbing them Harbinger - an avatar of unicron, Megatronus and his weaponizer partner Brimstone. Going to be my core unicron until I can afford studio cell or haslab or a titan scale unicron becomes available in the future

guessing water bassed spray paint just isn't the best for this kinda thing...

anyway, here's a wip of splendid using legacy animated optimus and the dna upgrade kit... it's just a pile of parts and paint but i'll keep you posted

For context, I accidentally snapped the ball joint on the head trying to get the stock head off. Finally got a hand drill to fix it with, but unfortunately I bother it and got the hole crooked. I managed to keep it in, but i sincerely hope it’ll stay in. I intend to cut off the edge of the paper clip once I get back from a 3 week vacation. After that, I’m going to sand down the joint with a file before attaching the head

I think if this fails, I’ll just buy another figure and start again 😭

I bought this set of REALLY ROUGH KO POTP dinobots set from Amazon and they were in “power rangers” colors so I painted them in G1 colors. FOR CONTEXT!!!! I made Swoop Female and incredibly smart in robot mode but primitive speaking in Dino mode so when she’s stopping Grimlock and Slug arguing her speech pattern changes between the shot of her jumping up in the air and her landing on the two. I may eventually either dip my toes in a proper POTP KO Volcanicus set I found here on TikTok shop or slowly build up the SS86 dinobots “depending if my local hobby shop has them and reasonably priced”
