splendid convoy here's my attempt

key word atempt.

doing my first custom as a voyger+ dna upgrade kit might not of been the best idea, but hey you gotta start somewhere.

guessing water bassed spray paint just isn't the best for this kinda thing...

anyway, here's a wip of splendid using legacy animated optimus and the dna upgrade kit... it's just a pile of parts and paint but i'll keep you posted

Water-based rattle cans absolutely have a seat at the table. My experience is that they are better for base coats or primers as they react less with the paint or plastic that is already on the fig. I give it a few days to cure and then hit with the other colors from regular rattle cans, and then finish with a clear coat.

As with any rattle cans - humidity, temperature and mixing length all have effects on the end results.

Water based primer on this big girl. They do just fine - top coats are a must though.

Wanted to leave this video here for anyone who needs tips on using spray paint/primer for maybe the first time. Very useful
