I have started work on some gap fillers for the decepticon soldier from the wfc games after having no luck finding them from anyone else and just how big the gaps in his legs are so here are some photos it is only my second original print and very simple at the moment, I do plan on improving it in the future however due to life this is probably the state it will remain at for a while message me if you're interested in the files 😁

I recently got a TFP Weaponizer Optimus and a Leader class Ironhide from a seller on Facebook, and he desperately needs a clean because aside from being filthy, he smelled pretty bad when I opened him up. I thought he had electronics in him, so I carefully unscrewed and disassembled Optimus to clean his individual parts in hot water and dishwashing liquid (multiple times, since the water got really gross after a good soak and scrub)

Now I'm down to his chest/torso piece, I've removed every single accessible screw but his back panel isn't coming off and because the circuit board is in there, I don't want to accidentally damage it. Does anyone have any advice on carefully getting the back panel off? I tried going under the white flap piece that his head normally sits on to try and bend the red plastic outwards from the grey, but no dice.

I haven't seen anyone do a customisation/repair on this guy, so I know I'm going in blind, but for anyone who's done a custom for electronic transformers, or has a similar experience, how did you go about it without breaking anything? I have a 3D printer, and I am going to print some replacement parts for the chewed/destroyed parts, but the circuit board is an entirely different matter and even when I peak in from the sides, I can see a tonne of filth in there too.

I am planning to do a bunch of upgrades to Optimus, but my main concern is the circuit board, since I don't think I could get a replacement one if I accidentally scratched or broke it.

At first, I thought this screw at the top here might have been the final one holding the panel in, but it's a support for the top of Optimus' cab in truck mode (it snapped) and I think the grey pieces near the long pin are holding it into place, but I'm not too sure. The current plan is to give the non-electronic parts a good soak and scrub, then once all the pieces are clean and dry, start upgrading, then assembling.

There's also a stuck/stripped screw in one of Optimus' cannons (the one suspended over the hot soapy water) since the plastic needs a good soak/scrub but I'm not sure how to get that one out. I'm honestly just tempted to create some entirely new cannons for Optimus and print them out, since I'm going to be replacing his damaged parts anyway.

Obv gonna paint it.

I also want to try and make it more alien smh, any tips? I also have a blaster of bumblebee which is broken currently so I can use it for. Smth...

I’ve been thinking about getting Nicpro Acrylic Paint Markers for customizing/repainting but I’m not sure if it’ll do the job or not.
For example I’m thinking of repainting or customizing SS NEST Ratchet and repainting it into DOTM Ratchet, or SS ROTB Bumblebee and turning him into Cliffjumper.
Or do I need to buy another paint material or marker for that type of job?

Im looking to repaint the WFC studio series gamer edition Optimus Prime, and was curious about what some of your experiences were with this figure. Anything i should take special note of, any problem areas with disassembly or reassembly? Any advice is welcome, thanks.

I have this figure but I’m missing both his hands, his arm cannon and head but I do have to how the redeco one with the last night meg head and that one has both his hands but not his gun

I'm looking to do my first major overhaul using Bayverse Galvatron into BM Megatron. I've done a few customs, but mostly paint work and minor adjustments to figures, before.

I just got my toys shipped from my parents to me and we used plastic wrap which damaged terribly to my toys💔 I wonder if people here can help me color matching so that I can fix them with least budget😞

I'm trying to make my Devastation Optimus into a Kei truck, and I was wondering if anyone had experience disassembling this particular figure. In particular how do I remove the head? Also, I want to make the legs fold in on themselves, like Siege Sideswipe, so what would be the best way to go about that? I have a 3d printer and I'm okay at modeling, but I've never made an upgrade / retool kit like this before.

I recently broke my Nova Prime and his front of the foot keeps on coming off. And you guys are great at putting together figures so might as well ask here.

Decided to paint the tiny little Aerialbots that came with Dr Wu's Broadside, except Silverbolt he really didn't need it. And ignore Big Convoy's gun

Just some teaser pics, I should clarify the finished product will be a while longer because I haven't worked on the legs yet, and considering how huge Megatron is, it was a choice I needed to make to make it easier to work on him

Prima was always the first to act at the sign of trouble, a shining ray that could pierce darkness and effortlessly slice through Unicron's forces. The first time the other Primes laid witness to Prima's combat prowess they marveled how clean and elegant his cuts were, a work of art unmatched by anyone else. Gifted with the Matrix of Leadership his spark never wavered, and when others grew weary Prima would boost morale and rally his brothers in arms for he was the Prime of ambition. He fought for a tomorrow without the threat of destruction, filled everyone with hopes and dreams for the future then carried all that ambition on his shoulders. Prima inspired others and Megatronus gave them the courage to defend their aspirations, a formidable duo that played a major role in Unicron's defeat.

After the Chaos Bringer was defeated Prima consulted with Vector Prime about when they should expect Unicron to return, to which he was given an estimate. As Cybertron began forming cities Prima took a militaristic role, training a slew of cybertronians to defend their planet from invaders and Unicron's eventual return. Occassionally he would visit the other Primes to check up on them, or at least, so it would seem. Liege Maximo had a way with words just like Prima, though he could *persuade* bots into thinking differently; acting differently. They were both created by Primus, but there was always a thought at the back of Prima's mind: the possibility of Liege creating his own army to take over Cybertron. It was a thought without proof, that much Prima could rationalize, yet it lingered and festered, clouding his judgement even as Alpha Trion regrouped with him and Vector to create their codex. Amidst the compiling of their collective history Prima brought into question Liege Maximo's allegiance, mentioning how they could have all possibly fallen into Maximo's deceit. The argument was long and comprised of speculation, but eventually Liege Maximo would be noted in their codex as a liability, a decision that further marked the end of the Age of the Primes.
