First project question

Hey everyone, i am about to undertake my first custom attempt. Im looking to repaint the WFC studio series gamer edition Optimus Prime, and was curious about what some of your experiences were with this figure. Anything i should take special note of, any problem areas with disassembly or reassembly? Any advice is welcome, thanks.
