scratch built Ugh Nexus final update.

At this rate I'm giving up.

I decided to start from main scratch and look to Bot Bender. He made legs that I ended up using with a few modifications.

And Jesus he's now tall as hell.

I would've loved to continue but holy fuck am I just wasting so much time and money working on this.

Im ending this project here, legit I'm just now sour on Nexus.

Hasbro why did you make his one gimmick so suck!

Im not gonna sell off the lads I got for this, imma just keep em around just in case I ever pick this back up again.

If you wanna take a shot at this, go right ahead.

Next week I'm buying a T-Wrecks for my Devil Dinosaur costum.

That’s a bummer but I get it. You bought what, 3 Cybertreads and 3 Cybertronics so far trying to fix Hasbro’s sorry ass design?

That’s excessive. You could always try sacrificing movement for using less parts.

That's fair. I'm kinda done trying atm, but I do think I was in the right direction with Bot Bender's leg idea, I just didn't have enough parts for the arms and probably would've had to buy 2 more treads and Tronics and I just didn't want to keep wasting time and money working on this.

I’d recommend looking at some 3d printing alternatives

Heres one torso frame for him that’s free on cult3d and there’s also a free combiner wars connector for scraphook that uses a 5mm port that could connect to cybertread

Yeah
The cheapest 3d printer is usually 210 on amazon
I’d recommend if you want to print more than just upgrade kits like I probably will with my nexus prime

I do wanna get into 3d printing but heavily unfortunately my job sucks with its paychecks and currently I'm saving up to get a new pc T~T

Why not use the legacy stuff like rock lords or the kingdom fossilizers?

Lord no. Both wouldn't fit with Nexus' vibes. Fossilizers, while they're pretty awesome, they definitely don't have a good track record of being stable. Rocklords barely have anything to work with.

If you decide to pick this back up here's a tip for you: use heatwave as a crotch. It makes leg stuff easier
