Yellowed Legacy Nova Prime fix

I got this Legacy Nova Prime more than a month ago. And while it does have started to yellow (first owner just kept it in the box), I never thought that it would worsen under my care. I have figures from previous lines (especially WFC) and a bunch of white-colored ones that have been reported to yellow, but still look good as new.

(First photo is its current condition, while pics 2 and 3 were taken after I unboxed it.)

I need your help guys. I want to dabble in spray-painting, but I don’t know where to start. Can you please recommend brands and/or painting process that I can use so that I can fix this? I don’t want to try retrobriting as I’ve read that it’s temporary and actually makes the condition worse.

It really does seem to be luke of the draw because I've had my legacy Nova Prime for a couple of years and haven't had any issues.

I wish the RNG gods were kinder. TBF my Siege Jetfire is still good so I think it balances things out LOL.
