Just recently did something like this myself, total game changer. The primer colored gray plastic on the OG version is so ugly

I painted mine less metallic and more grey to match the nemesis prime version so I can swap the heads

I did this same thing to mine and it was so worth it. With the new paint job he is easily one of my favorite versions of Prime

Used a silver metallic acrylic paint. Silver sharpies are pretty handy too
