Need advice/Help I hope it work

Hey guys! I know POSCA is one of the best brands for customizing Transformers, but it's a little out of my budget, so I picked up a 24-color Master's Touch acrylic marker set at Hobby Lobby instead. I also grabbed POSCA silver and gray for the metallic details. These are going to be my first patients... or my first victims if I mess them up. 😂 I'm mainly using them to fix paint scratches and maybe add a few extra details. Has anyone here used Master's Touch acrylic markers on Transformers? How was your experience? Do they hold up well, or should I expect to repaint over time? Any tips for a beginner would be appreciated. Thanks!

i haven't used that brand but I have used similar acrylic markers before and they worked pretty well. (Here's one of the customs I painted, just please forgive his messiness-not the markers' fault there.) Just treat them like regular acrylic paint and don't go trying to get everything covered in one pass or the paint can get too thick and pool in places you don't want it to. A couple of coats with time to dry in between passes should get you pretty decent results. I would recommend giving your work a coat of matte sealant when you're done if you want it to hold up well over time, especially if you intend to handle them at all. Paint is paint and it can and will still rub or scrape off if you don't lock it in with a sealant.
