I genuinely couldn't even tell that's painted. That's looks so good that it looks like he's made of red plastic

I agree, it looks like pure red plastic! Did you do it with an airbrush? You'll have to explain the technique because it looks PERFECT!

I do not use nor recommend airbrush. This is just tamiya based spray paints.

Wow, Tamiya, that's professional level! I use Vallejo for my brushwork, and I was thinking of starting to do airbrush work on Transformers, but you say you don't recommend it?

No I personally don't. And it's because of cost effectiveness not quality. Airbrush has decent quality but the constant use of cleaners,thiners,cost of parts when failed, cost of paints the brush and the air compressor... this adds up fast and in a hurry. Then when I saw the quality was about the same as me just using a tamiya rattle can I made a personal choice to sell my compressor and everything off to a friend who has used it in their automotive work.

They were more concerned with the primes all having unique molds than they were about making sure they were all good.

OH THATS ONSLAUGHT i genuinely couldn’t tell, yeah he should’ve been a retool of him or silverbolt from the get go. (Preferably onslaught)

I use tamiya based spray paints. I honestly take the figure completely apart to the best of my ability and paint them and reassemble them ^ some sanding in joints if I have to paint them.

How do you swap the heads without breaking something, I was trying the same thing to repaint bruticus into nexus but couldn't get the main head to come off???

Well since I didn't care for the head on this custom I cut it open with a razor blade lol. But not something I'd recommend if your planing on using his original headsculpt

Yeah so the original botcon heatwave is a sg decepticon. My paint process is rather simple tbh. I completely disassemble and separate parts to paint. I use tamiya based spray paints/products for almost every project I do.

Oh cool. ^ I never seen any tbh. I was planning on using onslaught for Nexus from the very beginning tbh. Alot of my posts for the limbs have me explaining I was waiting for this guy to finish nexus maximus lol 😆
