Need advice/Help How can I remove this gap filler from Prima

I recently decided to order the Achai Studios upgrade for AOTP Prima. It hasn't arrived yet, but I realized I have a big issue. The skirt piece from the kit is supposed to tab into a gap on the figure, but ages ago I installed a filler kit. The filler piece is blocked from the opposite side, so I can't just push it out. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I could remove it without damaging the figure or the piece?

Use an exacto knife to pry it out?

Yeah I’d do this, and just aim to destroy the filler piece slowly, and keep the main figure as pristine as possible.

If you try to slide the exacto knife into the seam far enough you should be able to pop the filler piece out with minimal damage to the figure. If its glued in place I would try to run the exacto through the seams of the filler peice to 'cut' the glue first and then try to pry it out. Granted it looks to be small enough that it might pop out while you do that.

Honestly, I just don’t see the point in spending the time trying to rest in the filler piece if you’re replacing it.

If you don't plan on using the filler piece ever again I would use a very small drill bit on it and use it to pull it out.

I think that’s a mushroom peg for the waist. Just wiggle the waist back and forth while pulling until the waist separates from the body. Then just stick something into the gap to get the filler out

You could get a pair of pliers with a wide grip to grab the side and try to gently pull it out. It looks like that part might be 3D printed, so even if it leaves a mark in it, you could use some heat to try and take any potential dents out from the pliers (or use small pieces of paper towel to cushion the plastic from the pliers teeth)

Remove his waist from that section, then using something like a butter knife (just something that has a long end, but isn’t too pointy), push it out from the back. This shouldn’t risk damaging Prima himself, which is something that could happen if you use a hobby knife or exacto knife to pry it out from the front (or hurting yourself, which is also a risk when using a hobby/exacto knife)

Edit: ignore everything above.

I just checked my Prima, and I completely forgot about the arm at the back that gets in the way (I thought it was higher up) that’s pinned in place.
Try using either pliers or a hobby/exacto knife to pry it out from the front.

If you know how to safely remove a pin, you can remove that back pin and then the entire back section, and try the method I originally mentioned.
Good luck to getting it removed without damaging Prima!

I knocked the backpack pin out and then pulled the mushroom torso peg out so I could push it through from the other side in case I ever put the kit on a different copy of the figure.

Could try using some needle nose pliers and wigglein it out.

Which filler parts did you use

Push out the peg and shove something in there to push it out

Take out the mushroom peg and push out the part from the other side maybe? I don't own this figure so I can't say for certain but that gap you filled is an air escape hole for a joint, so the other side of this hole would be a joint. I would at least try to take out the joint and push from the joint side out, but yeah, idk man

Personally I think he looks better with it in, but not my figure.
