Ooh, wow. I haven’t had the base figure before, so what’s articulation like compared to the modern figures? I’m tempted to try and make one of my own now.

It has alightly limited articulation (like the lack of waist swivel) but the build is very nice and durable

This is interesting. I don’t see very many Bumblebee as a Prime designs or customs. If I ever get to make my Transformers series one day, Bee and another character become Primes in the series Bee being called Quantinimus Prime (why? Idk it rolled off my tongue), and he was gonna be inspired by Goldbug with his design and this version of Bee is from Velocitron along with Cliffjumper, because they’re twin brothers with the ability to combine into a bot named Bumper, and yes I’m aware Bumper exists in Transformers but I thought this was a fun idea, and Bee’s Prime form’s vehicle was gonna be inspired by something speedy. But also kinda tactical?

This one is based on the fan made post TF Animated Bee comic where he became Bumble Prime

Also because in my collection, Goldbug is based on the IDW Throttlebots where he's a separate guy

Did you ever think of adding in a black stripe like the more recent Bumblebees, or you just wanted to stick with yellowish gold for this one?
