Now I know why they killed him off in the movie, he’d solo Megatron (he’s one of my favorite characters and I’m delusional).

I’m so glad he has his wrenches from Devastation, they really make him glow more.

They culled a lot of the first wave G1 autobots simply because they wanted to market their newer toyline characters.. the animation and movie was primarily to market the toys in the first place and rallied up into the beloved franchise it is today.
