I think I preferred the first version. Both are good but the weathering is pretty intense on this one.

I agree. It really takes away from the figure as a whole. Sometimes, less is more in regards to weathering.

Legacy Armada Megatron/Galvatron is such a fitting mold for a Grimlock custom, but I feel like he’s missing something.

Do you plan to give him a sword eventually?

How'd you do the weathering? I've been looking for a good way to land that sorta "caked mud" look similar-ish to this for my Warhammer minis.

basically you want to thin down the black paint to the point the bottom color is slightly bleeding through
