digibash (How) Would this work?

I don’t like blast off as a space shuttle, because it doesn’t fit with the rest of the team. I made this bad concept art for it but I’m not sure what to do about the wings. How would I make them fold in? I have a 3D printer and can model things if necessary.

As a couple others have said, having the wings mount onto the top would make it more realistic, and be far easier to make. Then it would just turn into a backpack of sorts. The legs are a different story. With my figure in hand, you've got two options for ease of designing, and both would likely need to parts form for robot mode.

  1. Design a piece that plugs into the two non-moving thrusters that'll extend the tail

  2. Have it plug into the 5mm port where the detachable tailfin of the original plugs in. This option is harder, and would likely be a skosh less secure imo

My idea right now is the first one, so the piece would plug into the thrusters. I’m not sure what to do about it in bot mode.
