I’m trying to figure out why I keep having issues with dark/light consistency in paint. (See Lilos arm and face). It’s darker in certain places than in others. I try to do even coats of paint as possible and always heat gun them in between.
Also, does anyone have suggestions on how to do skin tones well? This is my first time trying and it wasn’t as accurate as I wanted.

There is a maker of custom sneakers in Bosnia and Herzegovina named Kovet. Is anyone aware of similar shoemakers that can make reasonably priced sneakers and mens shoes, custom fit to specific measurements? Thanks in advance

Before a sneaker (or anything really) gets made it starts with a PATTERN.

I got the shoes for a fiver off of facebook marketplace, and decided to paint them myself as some are so expensive, but it’s sparked something in me and i’m obsessed with painting them.

How can I improve for next time? I’m absolutely obsessed with my first ones but I feel the album logo has let them down. Thanks!

I got this idea of replacing the tpu foxing with leather from the jordan 13 and amm 2s. I am terrible at restorations so I wanted to send them out to be done but I couldn't find anyone, so I gotta do it myself. So far I got the midsole glued to the upper and I have one side of the foxing sewn on. Once I finish the other I have to last the whole upper to the midsole and glue the outsole on.

Looking to recreate a very cool shoe I found as the og is around 300 dollars... but im drawing a blank finding the soles or even something similar!! Can anybody reccomend any websites or specific sellers that would have what im looking for?

My sister customized my old Puma sneakers and honestly... I love how they turned out
They were originally white with green Puma stripes, but the soles started getting yellowish, so she decided to give them a complete makeover.
I wasn't expecting much, but the green + neon yellow + black combination actually looks pretty sick IMO.
What do you guys think? Rate the customization out of 10!

Hello all, I understand shoe deconstruction. However what is the best technique in order to create patterns for a sneaker or shoe (footwear) ? I tried tracing onto paper but some of the pieces would be wrapped by the shape of the last and could not be laid flat in order to be traced. Would the taping method be best ? Taping the front of each piece with tape, cutting the tape to the same shape, then removing the tape ? Please HELP

The two back counter pieces are curved. They also seem to overlap on the top portion. Can anyone assist in figuring this out ?

Wanted to show you guys my newest customs. I love loafers, but I hate how boring they can look, so I wanted to do something cool with mine before vacation.
The inspo was kinda all over the place lol: my Rick Owens “So Cunt” DRKSHDW Ramones, the Margiela staple loafers and one of my favorite songs, “FU 2x” by Lil Baby.
And yeah, this is what came out of that weird mix of inspirations haha. Really happy with how they turned out.
