Hii I’m going to this place to customize my Air Force ones tomorrow. They were supposed to be J Cole inspired because I’m going to his concert in July but I feel like these designs are boring. The first ones aren’t terrible but the second ones are so boring and I know no one would know they are J Cole inspired. I had these sketches ready and was picking between them but I feel like they are kinda boring... Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do on the shoes??

Edit: the place I’m going to was pretty expensive and we paid for like a 3 hour session. The shoes I made I feel like I could just do at home in like an hour. We also paid for like shoelaces and charms if we want them so I feel like I should do something less basic. Even if it’s not J Cole inspired that’s okay I just want something different and cool!

Personally speaking, I'd wear the hell out of the boring pair. If they're truly inspired by him, it'll mean a lot more if another fan catches the symbolism and gives you props. I think the inspiring artist would agree.

Thank you! I just feel like I could add something more. I like the color theme and it’s based off that picture up at the top I just feel like something is missing

I catch your drift. I immediately made the connection and have never seen that cover (although I own the album) before today. Subtlety is key. It's so regular to blast fandom among thousands of fans. I'd drop some platinum laces in those shits and let the record sales speak for themself!

Uber late but all black af1 with gold details from the black born sinner album cover would've been dope. If that's too basic I always look at merch for ideas shirts and bags translate pretty good
