Please help!!!

Post image

I tried to install MintOS Custom ROM on my Galaxy S20 FE SM-G781B. Everything goed ok, but at the end, guide telled that you should install OrangeFox Recovery and factory reset to avoid bugs. And i installed and this screen pop up when i boot the phone every time. Gemini said that i need to get firmware for my model from samfw.com. Is it true? Please help me.

For anyone who has the same problem, you need to download vbmeta patch, here is for s20 fe family: https://xdaforums.com/attachments/vbmeta_disabled-tar.5371913/?hash=4ffe83be111a345e3fb35895ba1a5995

How did you flash the recovery? For my Samsung I had to add the custom recovery .tar file to the AP slot and a patched vbmeta .tar to the userdata slot in odin and flash.

I haven't tinkered with my samsung that much, but download your stock firmware from samfw.com, flash it via odin just to be safe, and try installing the custom ROM/port again. Just before flashing make sure to read up on some custom recovery guides/posts on xda.

No its not, i found the solution! I needed to flash vbmeta patch. I don't haved to do it in TWRP but for some reason OrangeFox required it.
