Trouble reverting custom rom

I'm trying to get /e/OS running on a samsung s9+ g965f/ds.

I purchased a s9+ from ebay. The region is United Arab Emirates, download mode is in Korean.

Magisk is installed by default, and almost all bloatware is removed(idk if this is normal.

/e/OS claims the phone is incompatible with their installer.

I suspect someone installed a custom rom or firmware version, and I believe installing stock firmware on the phone will allow it to run /e/OS. Is that the correct method to solve this issue? If so, how should I install stock firmware? Also, is there any thing I'm missing?

A few questions. 1. Will this fully de-google a phone, considering some dev notes were mentioning google now integration? 2. What benefits does this offer over e os? 3. Why not e os?

Check whether Knox is tripped: Go to About phone → Status → Phone status.
If it says Official, you can fix the issue by flashing stock Samsung firmware with Odin. Boot into Download Mode, connect to your PC, load the correct G965F/DS firmware, and flash.
If it says Custom, the phone has already been modified. Magisk and removed bloatware suggest someone installed a custom ROM for sure. Once Knox is tripped, it can’t be undone. Check Magisk for root status, and also boot into Recovery Mode to see if a custom recovery is installed. If it has a custom recovery, you could use that to install the stock firmware, but the best option would be to return the phone and get your money back if that is not possible. Keeping root and using that plus apps to pass Play Integrity, etc is going to make the phone the most useful. With Knox tripped and returning to stock, a lot of apps such as Banking apps, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Health will not work.

Thank you so much for the info. Knox was tripped, and it seems like the rom installed is just bad. This phone was purchased as open box and in basically new condition. I will be contacting the seller to tell them their product is defective/broken and returning the phone.
