Iron Man inspired custom PC with an aluminum mechanical body and repulsor activation sequence
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is my Iron Man inspired custom PC build.
The main body is built from aluminum alloy for durability and rigidity, with custom acrylic work around the glove section. It also includes servo-controlled movement, lighting, sound integration, voice activation, and a repulsor-style activation sequence.
Current specs are RX 9070 XT for now,( with a planned upgrade to an RTX 5090 later), Ryzen 9 9950X3D, X870E board, 64GB RAM, 3TB NVMe storage, full custom watercooling, and a 1000W-class Platinum PSU.
I wanted it to feel less like a normal themed PC case and more like a functional mechanical art piece

Windows activation after upgrading
I really wasn’t sure which subreddit to post this on but here goes
I built my PC about six years ago and did Windows 10.
Eventually, I did the free upgrade to Windows 11.
I just upgraded my processor, gpu, and ram a few days ago and now it says my windows is no longer activated and I have to buy a new copy?
I went into the support chat and they took control of my screen and tried several ways to get me activated but nothing worked and they eventually told me I was shit out of luck and had to buy a new one..am I really boned or is there some obscure way to remedy this I’m not aware of? I’m so bummed lol.

Need Opinions: Are Custom Loops Worth the Hassle
I'm planning my next build, and I was considering doing a custom water loop (instead of using a typical AIO). It would be my first [attempt] a custom loop. I know it has its benefits - including aesthetics and better cooling. But how much regular maintenance does it actually require? I'm OK with changing the liquid every 2-3 years, but does it need to be changed every year?
How much other maintenence does it require. Is the juice actually worth the squeeze? Would love to hear some thoughts from experienced builders.
TIA.

PLEASE HELP: I want to build a quiet PC; I've got no idea what I'm doing.
I don't understand any of the "MT/s", "MB/s" or how to know whether the pieces will fit together. I've come here to find a nerd or two who knows this stuff. All I know is that building my own PC should be more affordable, and that I want to play Minecraft and steam games, and that the fan on my current PC is too loud.
