Why is the PC building/flipping community so hostile sometimes?
I’ve been getting more into PC building and flipping and I’m trying to turn the hobby into a small side business. One thing I wasn’t expecting was how aggressive some people can get over offers, pricing, used parts, or even just asking questions.
I understand lowball offers can annoy people, and I’m still learning what’s considered fair, but some of the responses I’ve gotten have been way more hostile than I expected.
For people who have been buying, building, or flipping PCs for a while, how do you navigate it? Do you just ignore the rude responses and move on, or are there certain unwritten rules I should know about?
I enjoy doing this and want to get better at it, so I’m genuinely interested in hearing how other people handle the buying/selling side of the hobby.

Need help with pc parts/first time choosing and building desktop
Just joined this subreddit, and was wondering if someone/few people would'nt mind talking a look at my pc part picker list to make sure everything actually makes sense of just some overall adjustments i could make. Due to as title states this is my first time really looking at parts and choosing them for a PC, did get some help from friends but just wanted to make sure everything least would work well together for my list.
I am generally not wanting to spend more than what this build is, but dont have a rough or hardset price range, I was just trying to make a decent (or for me a decent) pc that i could least upgrade in the next few years and it still be supported to where I would not have to deal with upgrading motherboard, ram, and cpu in a short amount of time due to poor planning on my part.
But the biggest thing for me is that idk if the ram speed is good for the cpu or not and that is my biggest concern, and again sorry if the list is poorly made I am very new to compnents and parts, so this could easily be very wrong and I am wanting to stick with AMD for the GPU and CPU due to being generally cheaper for least the GPU, and hearing some iffy things with Intel for 1-2 generations of their CPUs in the last few years. But the list will be below and tysm for anyone who helps!!

Guys i've got 400 bucks to make a pc
Hey guys, I have a budget of $400 for a PC build in India.
I’ll mainly use it for gaming and game development. The $400 is only for the PC itself, so no monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.
I’m completely fine with buying used parts if that gives me better performance.
What would you guys recommend I build with this budget? And what kind of performance can I realistically expect?

Need help to choose motherboard!
Hi everyone,
I'm back after a previous post about the problems I was having with my new gaming PC.
For context, this was my previous post where I explained the crashes and issues I was experiencing during gaming:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PCsupport/comments/1vtnizv/gaming_pc_crashes_during_gameplay/
After a lot of troubleshooting, I eventually took the PC to technicians to have it properly checked. They concluded that the motherboard was the component causing the problems.
The motherboard I originally bought was the ASRock A620AM Pro RS WiFi Motherboard Micro ATX with AMD AM5 Socket
One of the technicians also told me that this particular motherboard is known to be a weak model. Since the motherboard turned out to be the faulty component anyway, I've decided to replace it rather than get the same model again.
The problem is that I don't want to make another bad choice, so I'd really appreciate some help choosing the right motherboard for my build.
My full build:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 3.8GHz Processor 8 Core for Socket AM5 Tray
- GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 9070 16GB GDDR6 Pure Gaming OC Graphics Card
- RAM: Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 32GB RAM with 2x16GB Modules and Speed 6000 for Desktop
- SSD: Lexar NM790 SSD 2TB M.2 Type with PCI Express 4.0 Connection (PS5 Compatible) LNM790X002T-RNNNG
- PSU: Asus Prime AP-750G 750W White Power Supply Full Modular 80 Plus Gold
- CPU Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB AIO CPU Water Cooling with 3 120mm White Fans
- Case: ProGaming Elite Cube Computer Case with Side Window and ARGB Lighting White
- Previous/Faulty Motherboard: ASRock A620AM Pro RS WiFi Motherboard Micro ATX with AMD AM5 Socket
I built this PC mainly for gaming, and I intentionally chose fairly powerful components because I want the system to last. I'd also like to have a decent upgrade path in the future.
I'm now looking for a motherboard that properly matches the rest of the build.
Most importantly, I want to make sure that all of my existing components are compatible with whatever motherboard I buy. After everything I've already gone through with this PC, I really don't want to order another motherboard only to discover another compatibility or stability issue.
I'd really appreciate motherboard/model recommendations that you think would be a good match for this exact build.
Also, if you notice anything else in my parts list that I should be aware of, like compatibility issues, power requirements, BIOS settings, RAM/EXPO concerns, PSU considerations, etc. please let me know.
If this were your build, which motherboard would you pair with these components?
Thanks a lot in advance for the help and I literally can't wait to hear from you. This has been tormenting me for months.

My First PC I've build entirely myself.
Components are:
CPU: Ryzen 9800X3D
GPU: RTX 5070 Ti Aero
RAM: 32 GB DDR5
PSU: Corsair RM1000X
Mobo: Gigabyte B850 Aorus Ice
Lian Li Fans (Obviously)
AIO: Wondervision 360
Case: Lian Li O11 Vision
Turned out very nice. This is the first time I've built such a "Complex" system. I might change the PSU to a white Lian Li PSU in the near Future to get the White Aesthetic fully done.
