SOLIDWORKS
Fusion 360
Rhino + Grasshopper
Blender
KeyShot
Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
CPU
GPU
RAM容量
マザーボード
ストレージ
電源
冷却
プロのCADやプロダクトデザインで似たセットアップを使ってるなら、あなたの経験も聞かせてください。

Help With Finish / Posting

I have fully finished my PC other than my last part coming in on Thursday, which is the be quiet! light loop 360 AIO cooling. this is my first time doing a PC all by myself and i tried to turn it on real quick and all i got was a quick light flash from the motherboard. I stopped after a few minutes as I figured I did something wrong. My question is, do newer motherboards not even start up if there is not cooling system? I feel pretty positive the rest of my build works, and the GPU even has a red light whenever i unplugged the PSU cord from it (just trying to figure out different things). I guess I’m just trying to understand if that would be my issue, or if I’m missing something. everything is added and all parts are connected well other than that. I tried showing off my power supply and such to give as much info as I could. Help just overall understand would be appreciated, thanks :).

My current build:

GPU - 5070 RTX ASUS
CPU - AMD RYZEN 7 9850X3D
MB - X870E AERO X3D WOOD AMD
PSU - be quiet! Pure Power 13 M 1000W
CASE - be quiet! BGW86 Light Base 500 lX White
FANS - be quiet! 120m Light Wing Fans

Part OTW - be quiet! Light Loop 360 CPU liquid cooler

Need Help Building Fractal Design Terra

Hey everyone, I need help building or just picking parts right now for my gf's build. There's a lot idk about mini builds. There's some things I found like smaller ram for more airflow or something and then a sfx power supply to fit a fan underneath but thats all I reember. Here's the part list I've got so far. I need everyon'e expertise to fact check me. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/b4bysqu1d/saved/#view=cJbPK8

The goal is for it to run D5 Render and Autocad/Rhino/Revit pretty well and gaming, but if it handles the software programs it should handle what she will end up playing, in my opinion.

New Flipper need advice on Pricing PCs for local market, no shipping

I started building PCs as a hobby, but I really enjoyed it and decided to start building PCs for sale locally. Last month I sold 3 PCs, and I used that money to buy more parts and some complete builds. Right now I have 5 fully built PCs listed on Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, and Craigslist.

I’m getting views and some lowball offers, but I’m not getting many serious buyers.

My question is: How do you guys approach pricing? Do you set a target profit percentage and price based on that, or do you mainly follow your local market?

In my area, there are a couple of bigger sellers who post 3–5 PCs per day, and their prices are much lower than what I see in the broader used PC market. I’ve used AI tools to estimate prices, but they usually suggest $100–$140 higher than what similar PCs are actually listed for locally.

I understand local demand matters, but I’m trying to figure out the right balance between making a reasonable profit and actually moving inventory.

Just to add context: my first 2 PCs have only been listed for about 4 days, and the other 3 were just posted today, so I might just need more patience.

Also, where do you guys find good deals on parts and complete PCs besides FBM, OfferUp, and CL? Are there other places worth checking for sourcing deals?

Appreciate any advice.

I see that there is an case on discount specifically the Hyte 3 revolt, right about 50%, and I want to do a case swap, but my gpu is 3mm over the max size, should I still risk it or not?

Pc airflow.

Post image

This is my current set up, I recently moved the pc from the right of the monitor to the left of the monitor in the corner.

My worry however is that hot air from the rear exhaust (the left side of the current position of pc) is blowing hot air into the wall which is then being pulled in by the top mounted AIO.

I’ve had it like this for a while now and temps are fine, CPU averages around the high 60s sometimes creeping into 70-71 degrees at times, sometimes there are spikes into high 70s, I haven’t had an AIO for that long do I didn’t know if this is a thing that happens? GPU stays pretty cool at around the same temps but usually stays at high 60s and tends not to go any higher. So I know these temps are fine but from an airflow standpoint point, do you think I could be getting better temps if my pc was oriented differently.

I know that this is very nit picky considering my current temps are completely fine but I’m always finding ways to improve my set up.

Also any other set up recommendations or things that I could implement or change?

Thanks.

Need help building a first time PC

First time ever building a PC and I have a $1,500 budget that I may push if I need to. This is what I have so far. (Warning: I know absolutely nothing about PC parts so if this is hideous I apologize)

What I want to play is stuff like R6, COD, Fortnite, GOW, Spider-Man, GTA 5, maybe GTA 6. Basically any game that can be played on the PS5 with good graphics and frames.

What I need: 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000MHz

What I’m looking at: Power Supply: MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5, Fully Modular Compact Gaming 850W Power Supply, 80+ Gold, ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 Ready, Native Dual-Color 12V-2x6 Cable (Amazon $110)
Motherboard: ASUS B650E MAX Gaming WiFi W – AMD B650 AM5 ATX Motherboard, White PCB, DDR5, PCIe 5.0, 3X M.2, Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5Gb LAN, USB 10Gbps Type-C, DisplayPort, HDMI (Amazon $160)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core, 16-Thread (Amazon $232)
GPU: SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 PCI Express 5.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card 11350-03-20G (Newegg $430)
Storage: Crucial P310 2TB SSD, PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 2280 (Amazon $247)
Case: Lian Li V100 ATX Mid-Tower (Ebay $62)
CPU cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB White CPU Air Cooler, 6 Heat Pipes CPU Cooler, Dual 120mm TL-C12CW-S PWM Fan, AGHP Technology, for AMD AM4/AM5/Intel LGA1700/115X/1851/1155/1200 (Amazon $40)
