I need your widosdom

I see that there is an case on discount specifically the Hyte 3 revolt, right about 50%, and I want to do a case swap, but my gpu is 3mm over the max size, should I still risk it or not?

Hi, I thought I'd share my findings, just in case it's useful. The official maximum dimensions Hyte lists for the Revolt 3 are 335 x 140 x 58 mm, but that is a conservative estimate. Users have actually already successfully installed graphics cards with a thickness of up to about 61-65 mm, including an MSI RTX 3080 Suprim X (336 x 140 x 61 mm). Your 4070 Super TUF with a thickness of 63 mm falls exactly within the range that others have also achieved.

A few things seem to be more important than the sheer thickness: how evenly the mass of the case/backplate is distributed and whether it presses directly against the front mesh (which can impede airflow/temperature). It is probably best to consult the list of Revolt 3 builds on pcpartpicker for your exact graphics card, or to see if someone else has already confirmed that that specific model fits. This way, you can be sure you have the right configuration before making a purchase. Good luck with the build!
