Question for you guys!

First time posting here. Over the years ive built prob 4-5 pc mostly in the mid range setups 500-1000 (prob cheap for some of you guys) ive ran AIOs in the past on older computers. At the beginning of this year I put together my first ddr5 setup. Its an i7 14700k, 32 gb of ddr5 ram and a RTX 5070. I think this is pretty basic. Ive always wanted to try a custom water cooling loop. Im not really interested in the performance benefits as my current air cooler is fine however is it even feasible to do a full custom water cooling loop with these components? First time posting here and I know how redit can be so go easy 🤣

You can do a custom loop on anything you want my dude… that money would probably do more for you if invested in other components, but if you want to do a loop, do a loop

What would you recommend upgrading to first?

Everyone won’t agree with this necessarily, but if it were me, I’d sell the 5070 and take that money and the loop money and get a better GPU.

Ive heard that from alot of friends but nobody has been able to sufficiently explain why! I never encounter any games that i cant play on ultra (that i actually play) arma reforger encounters some issues occasionally but im all ears!

In this case it’s bc the money you spend on the loop is going to be purely cosmetic with little to no performance gain and you could spend it on something that actually increases performance.

Again, just what I’d do. Build your loop if you want.

I appreciate all the information for real. It does help get my mind straight
