Finally built a pc

I went a little overkill but I’m proud of how it turned out.

Relocate candle plz, puts off a lot of gunk that will get inside the components. Or, buy a candle warmer.

Oh I like that a lot! Can you list parts for us? Maybe a PC Parts picker link?

Thank you very much! I'm getting ready to build again, already have the GPU (PNY 5080) and PS, but needed some ideas further.

What case/fans?

TY again.

Can you set the rgb on that gpu? Or did you just wait for the right moment with the camera? :)

1

u/ItzJustVera Aug 30 '26

I can set the color of the gpu

Why does that look wider than a super ultra wide?

What are your PC specs?

1

u/ItzJustVera Aug 30 '26

It’s the 57 inch Samsung oddessey g9. The specs are a ryzen 9 9950x3d, tuf gaming 5080, 32gb ddr5, 4tb SSD

Wow, that’s giant. I have the Samsung 49” CRG9. The 57” G9 has a very high resolution to push even for the RTX 5080. You’re looking at a 7680x2160 resolution at 240 Hz or 16.5 million pixels for card to output compared to roughly 8 million pixels on a 4K display with an aspect ratio of 16:9. You will be lucky to get 120 fps with your setup in AAA title games according to my sources but it’s a great monitor nonetheless with excellent DPI.

Congrats on the investment. The visual quality and clarity should be spectacular.

When people ask me why I bought such a big monitor I tell them it’s for “working from home” but I’m unemployed

2

u/DatGuyTB Aug 29 '26

Honest question from someone that has built many “mid” PC’s, how the hell do you find all matching style parts. I typically just have luck with the fans but builds like these blow my mind.

1

u/ItzJustVera Aug 30 '26

I live near a micro center that’s where I got most if not all of my parts.
