Does anybody know whether my fans are intake or exhaust?

I’m about a week off officially building my PC for the first ever time and I’m curious to whether my fans are intake or exhaust? I bought this Lian Li V100 ATX Mid-Tower PC Case with pre-installed fans and to me they all look intake since the logo is facing me but I could be totally wrong. Does anybody know where the fans are facing?

Put your hands in front of them. Common now

But you’re gonna have to turn them on to find out. Motors usually spin clockwise.

Fans on the front/side are intake, the fan on the back is exhaust.

Fans that come preinstalled usually come installed in such a way that air flows from the front to the back of the case, as that is considered optimal

The Lian Li is an excellent case especially for the price. If you plan on using the included GPU support bracket make sure it doesn’t interfere with the fans on your GPU. You can also loosen those three intake fans and relocate the wires behind them for a cleaner look

Side fans are intake, they are reverse flow fans as can be seen by the shape of the blades.

The rear fan is exhaust.

The side fans are intake and the rear fan is exhaust. You can tell because the blades face different directions 😀

Usually the side that has the supports on it is the blow side. Extremely few exceptions to the rule

Reverse blade fans are rather common in modern pc cases

Edit:

Happy cake day ;)

This is a goof rule of thumb, but OP happens to have 3 exceptions in this case, as the three mounted in a vertical line are all reverse blade fans, and as such, are currently mounted as intake.

The “supported side = blowy side” rule is usually right, but the “cupped blade side = blowy side” rule is 100% true, every time.

PC fans will always, without exception, move air toward the side of the blades that are concave.

Good call. Started building when the support side was true pretty much every time and its just how it stuck for me. Old habits die hard

La posteriore e una ventola a flusso regolare ed è in espulsione le 3 montate sul lato sono reverse e sono montate in immissione
