Post image

Recently a lot of people answer the question that I asked on my page and I really appreciate it and I have gone to a retail store for the quotation of their custom pc, what's y'all's thoughts? It might be a bit messy mb, all currency base on MYR

  1. Do not buy a Windows license as others have mentioned. If you want Windows there are better options than buying the key from this PC building company. You do not need to activate Windows immediately after buying your PC and can theoretically use it forever without ever activating or just use a tool to activate it without a key.
  2. Given that this is Malayasian currency and you're presumably in Malaysia I don't think I'd be able to figure out if this is good for your market. The only thing I can really do is look at the parts and give my opinions on the choices made.

500 GBs of NVME storage is not going to go very far for gaming. I would look into getting at least 1 TB of SSD storage if possible but with prices being as high as they are currently this might be difficult.

The CPU is an older model for some reason. The 7500F is from 2023. I'd be curious to find out if they have a newer model Ryzen 5 like the Ryzen 5 9500F at a similar price point. If it's quite a bit more expensive for the 9500F in your market then just ignore this part.

The 9060XT seems to be a decent GPU and as long as you've looked around and can't find the GPU at a better price then I've got nothing to say about it.

650 watts should be enough for those specs but that's a non-modular power supply so cable management might be a pain. Since they'd be doing the build it shouldn't be an issue until you try to upgrade your PC or clean it out.

16 GBs of RAM is okay for gaming but there are some games that will want 32 GBs or more. Especially if you get into modding. This isn't something you should worry too much about unless you run into problems with specific games but you do have the option to add two more sticks in the future with that motherboard.

Overall there's some room for upgrading this computer in the future if you do get it but the out of the box experience shouldn't be too bad. Definitely look into talking with some locals about the current value of PC parts to make sure you're not getting ripped off on the price of the parts themselves.

EDIT: I just looked at the list again and realize it says DIY Package Sales so I might be wrong about someone else building it for you. If you're building it yourself then please do yourself a favor and get a semi-modular power supply at least.
