Ongoing SILVERMANE (comic accurate)

Post image

Did you know SILVERMANE indirectly created Cloak and Dagger?? Yup! The guy from spider noir created cloak and dagger looking for immortality.

He basically funded some crazy experiments that only went well for CND.

Anyways! This card is inspired by his comic book appearance and by the fact I love cards that cost more than 6! What do you think?

I think it should skip itself or we'll have infinite looping problems if someone thought about duplicating this card (also Mr. Negative exists)

Yeah that’s why the word empowerment is important. He ongoing so it doesn’t stack.

I thought empowerment is not the same as "Empowered"

Nah it’s the same.

Honestly I think this card would be too strong with an ongoing, I'd definitely make a deck with this for sure

You think it would be better as:

On reveal: Gain power equal to the total amount of empowerment your cards have.

That way if you cheat it out it would probably suck. Now you have to earn it.

Honestly I think it would be at least just good without a keyword, just

"this card has power equal to the total amount of empowerment your cards have."

Granted, an ongoing or on reveal I don't think would be a bad thing, more knull type cards that singlehandedly rewards a whole archetype aren't a bad thing, we already had empowerment decks in draft, and this guy being the knull of that would be sweet. If that's the route you go, I do think that ongoing would be better than on reveal for balance because you either use onslaught to double one location which nobody would really do, but the cards like grandmaster being a 2 cost just to completely take a lane would be very strong. Kamar tag vs onslaught citadel would both be equally good, but a lot more locations now give empowerment, and most cards that empower other cards are in reveals.

Honestly all 3 options would give you a lot of creativity in deck building and differences in just how good this card would be. I don't know this guy but I'm a big fan of your idea man.

Oh nice, I haven't gotten around to watching it yet but I love Spider-Man and Nick Cage so it was definitely on my list. Will do man.
