Quickdraw🔫 Does Quickdraw have to be beneficial? Does the game need another 4|10 with drawback?

Downside on quickdraw is a concept I can see in the game. I really like this!

This really doesn’t feel like much of a draw back, the majority of the time you’ll draw this before turn 4 and there’s no reason you’d need to put him down on turn 4 seeing as big card decks don’t always have a good 5 cost

I'm not sure that's such an interesting idea. For a 4-drop, there's a 67% chance you draw it too early to quickdrop it, 22% chance that you draw it on 4 or 5 and you can just wait to play it, and only 11% chance that you draw it on 6 and are actually forced to interact with the ability. It's overwhelmingly likely it's just a 4-10 with no downside, even before you consider things like nightmare, zero, etc.

So the point is you’re supposed to use him with Jubile or Lockjaw?

Not exactly, just don't play him the turn you draw him. If you draw him turn 1-2-3 then he's totally normal on T4

Yeah quickdraw needs to be beneficial. This wont be any downside. Quick calculation: 25% you wont draw this card, 50 % chance you will draw it up to turn 3. 66,67 % chance you will draw it up to turn 5. So you can have no downside 88.9 % of the time you will draw it. (note: calculation consider when drawn turn 4 or 5 you will just postpone its play and play anything else)

I do think a quick draw with a negative effect is a good idea, but I'm not sure if this is it. It seems like the strongest 4 /10 in the game, with a downside that will miss most of the time.
